<p>The comparison of pistons with a diameter of 57 mm, 59 mm and 62 mm is able to increase the cc of the Yamaha Vixion motorcycle where the piston with a diameter of 57 mm can produce 150 cc while the piston with a diameter of 59 mm can produce 160 cc and for a piston with a diameter of 62 mm it can produce 177 cc. One of the efforts to determine the fuel efficiency of a motor vehicle is to use the tank drain method or the full to full method. The method I use is the tank drain method. Because the difference between the piston diameters can increase power and torque, it is certain that the effect of changing between piston diameters also affects fuel consumption. This study aims to determine the ratio of the piston diameter to the fuel consumption efficiency of Yamaha Vixion motorcycles where this test starts from idle rotation, and variations in piston diameter (57 mm), (59 mm) and (62 mm). Pertamax 500 ml, 1000 ml and 1500 ml were tested on the streets. Based on the test results, it was found that the piston with a diameter of 57 mm was able to cover a distance of 37.53 km by consuming 1000 ml of fuel while the piston with a diameter of 59 mm was able to cover a distance of 22.98 km by consuming 1000 ml of fuel, while the piston with a diameter of 62 mm able to cover a distance of 16.65 km by consuming 1000 ml of fuel.<br>Keywords: Piston diameter, cylinder block, fuel efficiency</p>Ahmad Wahyu RomadlhonBudiyono BudiyonoArif Feriansah

<p>Spark plug is a spare part that is installed on an internal combustion engine with an electrode tip in the combustion chamber. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the use of standard spark plugs, iridium spark plugs, platinum spark plugs, and racing spark plugs has on fuel consumption on Honda motorcycles. Scoopy. The method used in this research is the experimental method or direct experiments. Turn on the motorbike, then walk for a distance of 60 Km, with an average speed of 50 to 80 Km which is in accordance with what was determined in the study. By doing the no-load test 2 times in each experiment to be tested. Research results Iridium spark plugs (Denso IU27) in 1 liter of fuel can cover a distance of 50.42 km/l, fuel consumption of platinum spark plugs (CPR6EAGP-9) in 1 liter of fuel can cover a distance of 55.04 km/l, while consumption Busi Racing fuel (TDR 071) in 1 liter can cover a distance of 47.61 Km/L, so this study shows that using Platinum Spark Plugs can reduce fuel consumption.<br>Keywords : Spark Plugs, Fuel Consumptio</p>Budiyono BudiyonoImam PrasetyoMuhammad Faza Perdana

<p>Welding is a metal joining method that utilizes the penetration of heat or heat produced. Heat and then the cooling of the metal joints is a natural phenomenom. The cooling temperature is so fast that is creates a variety of structures so that the mechanicalability of a metal changes. This study aims to determine the effect of hardening with different cooling media on the result of SMAW welding. The test of the highest tensile strength value in the hardening proses with axe oil cooling media was 467.51N/mm2 and the lowest tensile strength value in the hardening process with charcoal powder cooling media was 427.40N/mm2. <p>Transportation is an important thing in everyday life, especially to support activities that are full of mobility. This makes private vehicle users continue to grow. Therefore, it is necessary to improve performance from all aspects such as comfort, security, and stability. The braking system is one of the important aspects in vehicle design which has a major effect on safety and stability. The purpose of this study was to compare the performance of ABS and Non ABS brakes on Avanza cars to compare the braking distance and time. This test was carried out by direct braking practice on a straight road and repeated 2 times at each speed. The test was carried out with variations in speed, namely 40 km/hour, 50 km/hour, 60 km/hour, 70 km/hour, and 80 km/hour. The results of the car braking test with ABS and Non ABS technology for a speed of 40 Km/hour ABS brakes are 1.70 seconds while Non ABS brakes are 1.78 seconds. So the time difference is 0.08 seconds. For a speed of 80 km/h, the ABS brake is 3.31 seconds while the Non ABS brake is 3.39 seconds, so the difference is 0.08 seconds. From these data, it can be concluded that at a speed of 40 km/hour compared to a speed of 80 km/hour, the time difference is the same, namely 0.08 seconds. at each test speed. In addition, the length of braking time required for each speed variation on vehicles with the ABS braking system is shorter than the non-ABS braking system. <p>One of the efforts to reduce exhaust emissions in vehicles is by adding addictive substances to premium fuels, one of the addictive substances in fuel mixing is ethanol. Ethanol is a high-octane fuel and can be used to increase the octane rating in fuel, which comes from sugary plants (sucrose) such as sugar cane, palm juice, coconut juice, etc., starchy plants (flour) cassava, sweet potato, sago, corn, etc. , and cellulose (legnocellulose) plants of wood, straw, and banana stems. Because the content of ethanol has many benefits, including increasing engine performance, saving fuel use, cleaning the combustion chamber, and being able to reduce exhaust emissions, this is because in the ethanol content there is oxygen which helps combustion in the combustion chamber more completely. This study aims to reduce the value of CO and HC concentrations and increase CO . emission levels2 on motorized vehicles. This test is carried out by adding the percentage of ethanol mixture that is 15%, 30%, 45% in premium fuel with engine speed variations of 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, and 4000 rpm. the average decrease is significant from 2000-4000 engine speed, but the largest decrease occurred at 2000 rpm for the E30% of 2.15%, namely from 4.28% to 2.13%. <p>Pengelasan merupakan suatu metode penyambungan logam yang memanfaatkan penetrasi panas atau kalor yang dihasilkan. Panas dan kemudian mendinginnya sambungan logam merupakan suatu fenomena yang alamiah. Temperatur pendinginan yang begitu cepat menciptakan struktur yang beragam sehingga kemampuan mekanik suatu logam mengalami perubahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh hardening dengan media pendingin yang berbeda terhadap hasil pengelasan SMAW. Pengujian nilai kekuatan tarik tertinggi pada proses hardening dengan media pendingin oli gardan sebesar 467,51 N/mm2 dan nilai kekuatan tarik terendah pada proses hardening dengan media pendingin serbuk arang sebesar 427,40 N/mm2.
